Staccato is a short feature covering classical music.  You’ll hear interviews with composers, conductors, writers, and of course the music.  It currently airs on KMFA 89.5 in Austin, Texas.

The 24 hour Opera Project from the Atlanta Opera gets underway this weekend.  Composers, Librettists, Performers and Musicians come together for a 24 hour period to write a 15 minute opera.  Listen below to hear more about it.

American expatriate Samantha Farber has launched a unique classical music business from her home in Vienna, Austria.  Her ”virtual opera house”  offers operas and other classical music programming online.  It’s called Sonostream.tv and it features up and coming opera singers performing selected operas from Vienna.  Listen below to hear how Farber’s online business is different from all the others.

SungEun Park, a concert pianist from South Korea, adds to her heavy load of  awards with a performance this month at the University of  Texas in Austin.  She’s this year’s winner of the concert piano competition at the Butler School of Music.  Listen below to her amazing story and her amazing talent.
